Pain is inevitable, suffering is optional."
Exercise Physiology and how it can help
Exercise promotes the release of Endorphins: a natural pain killer produced by the body, helping to reduce the perception of pain and create a sense of well-being
Engaging in Exercise can activate the "gate control" theory of pain. The brain can only process a limited amount of sensory information at a time. Therefore, engaging in exercise can essentially "close the gate" on pain signals.
